Back to the Letter…

Hi Pip

News in the night on UK BBC 4 World Radio

Well we've got Diesel here in the UK at £1.29.9 pence per litre (£1.30 in fact) that's an approximation-al equivalent to yours being $11.80.4c per Gallon here.

I have based this on £1.30p per litre there are 4.54 litres to 1UK Gallon at this time the US $ is around 2$ to 1 UK£. That makes 4.54 Litres @ £1.30 = £5.90.2p x 2 ($=£) and you have an amazing $11.80.4c per UK Gallon - now tell me the world's not gone crazy and we are not stupid for accepting this! Of course this is the Ultimate Control.

I heard someone complaining to me in NY the other day that they were struggling on $4/Gallon - Bless - they need to try it over here.

Oops! Another Blog coming on... maybe not.

What is it there in the SF/LA area, I did hear a month ago fuel was £2.30c/Gallon in Texas but that's where they bring it ashore I believe?

Oh, nearly forgot - they're saying that the price of Oil hit a new high yesterday of £120 per barrel - they finished the sentence saying they were looking to go as high at $200! I was half asleep but I'm sure I heard that the price of Oil ten years ago was $27 per barrel and we, here in the UK were complaining at 87pence per litre just last year! Where do the exclamation marks end and the expletives begin.

Spread the word - let's hear what people are paying around the world - bet they can't get as high as we are but then I think the Tax is only around 80p per litre tax - don't quote me it might be higher but that's the price of living in such an affluent country - Not - here in the UK.

Yep sounds like a Blog...

Well the illusion is ours, we've helped it into reality, we've bought the package in whatever shape, size or Politic you wish to colour it - now it's up to us to turn it around - no one else can do it - only us. Greed is self-consuming - we are consumed!

Give my love to the California InTouchRadio.net family and to all the others around the world who support the ethos of ITR.

From a cloudy and sunny Springtime Somerset with the House Martins and Swallows all arriving back after their Winter in the South African sun - have a good day.

Lots of Love
Michael x
