ITR - Letter from Sweden's Auto Dropouts after InTouchRadio.net Review by Michael Dixon

Auto Dropouts - Sweden
InTouchRadio.net Review
New Tracks
For InTouchRadio.net (Glastonbury, UK / GLOBAL)
Hi again!
I just heard the whole thing now - and....i'm pretty much speechless..That anyone could give such a beautiful description (sorry for my bad Englishr..) of what i want "T.A.D." to be is just: Totally amazing.
It made me blush and i couldn't believe what i heard - i'm very touched by every word and i do think you are the one who best have talked about what happens when different people with different influences get together like this and what it sounds like.
My background as a punk rocker even seem to shine thru - and "The Beatles" and "Pink Floyd" well, who can deny their influence on the music scene - no matter what style you're into!
The only reason i don't put those bands in my influences is cos the as...Fresh air: Do you like fresh air? HAHA!
You know what i mean - pointless cos you cant get around em - even if you claim to hate em you love another band that clearly was influenced by them.
I love a lot of 60's band - The Hollies & the Small Faces - Kinks...God there's so mush good stuff from that period and i love early Alice cooper stuff just as much as American power pop with obscure bands like 20/20 or "The Paul Collins Beat" but i'm very happy that you just get a lot of glimpses of the influences - That's how it should be. If you can hear "A band" just copying that's not very interesting.
On our MySpace page a lot of artist's - painters & photographers have also contributed and i would love to help promote them in some way - just like you are helping unsigned dorks like myself. That's really cool - so much good stuff out there who deserves some serious attention.
Cant tell you how happy i was to hear this - it blew all my fuses & i have put it up already on our page!!!
Will write a blog about your site later.
It's 25 degrees and all blue skies here today so it's picnic time :-)
A big hug to you Michael
Oh, and the songs on the second CD is:
"C'omon stranger"
"Poor Material" "The quickfix" "The boy with the restless eye's" All vocals by Scott Cryer except for "the quickfix" who was sang by "Roger Eriksson" who also sang "Myrna Minkoff"
Really great and humble guys - Roger from my hometown.

Hi Jesper
Thank you for the feedback - I hope you don't mind, two things, firstly please do spread the word and also get all your artist friends to come onto both MySpace friends and to www. intouchradio. net online - this is where we need the numbers hitting as I'm on a sponsored site through my friend Virgilio Fino, all this is done on zero funding until we can get in some adverts and so on but I would strongly suggest you get all your band friends, bands and others around to sign up - register on www. useyourears. com (London).
UseYourEars. com is Virgilio's site for working musicians and is now the largest site in the world and is growing. It is based in the UK but it will be spreading. The more who register the greater the sum of the site. Say Michael sent you if you mail them. It's been 8 years in the making and the UK map is coming soon with every musician registered on it and all the UK venues and Music Shops etc.
Its only a month now online but growing with every day. Still the numbers and world map growth is important as that will make the reason for being sponsored by UseYourEars. com more viable especially as Virgilio has built the website and everything else for me as a sponsored item - he even put up the new donation button last night - I'm a bit out of touch technology wise.
Secondly I need to have people in different countries, read today's blog on myspace and on www. intouchrado. net blog page to give me information about the rest of things going on in an area or country, you might like to pick up the news about Sweden and so on and send me a monthly audio newsletter - how the Swedish people live, what's it like where you are, what are the Swedish people doing or communities something other people in other parts of the world would like to know about Sweden - Scandinavia and so on - let me know if you could or even a monthly Blog?
Now something I need to clear up - you are not a Dork, you never will be and never were, what I said about your music is how I felt and feel. I can hear the influences and as you said we are all influenced - I've been around a lot longer than you and I am blessed with all those original genres that may be missing today but good is good - as a producer I can hear things I would have done but then this would be my idea and not your idea, it is your dream as InTouchRadio. net is mine - you are no Dork and don't ever let anyone tell you that.
Your conceptual ideas are very different - the breath of fresh air you mentioned and I happen to love innovation.
Oh there is a third thing - I'm afraid I've used a couple of seconds off the end of one of your tracks to use under an InTouchRadio. net jingle, I hope you don't mind, if so let me know and I'll remove it.
You can blog any of the InTouch blogs or any part of any letter you feel may help you - just do your best to help me and in turn help InTouchRadio. net that's the co-operative bit.
Hope the picnic went well. Very humid must be the same temperature over here, could have a storm later.
Lots of Love
Michael x
