Carrie Tree Interview at Michael Dixon’s home outside of Glastonbury.

After a heavy summer season at the UK festivals from Sunrise to Glastonbury and then across to Ireland to help Tara – this unique artist Carrie Tree from Brighton, England walks her talk by giving up the Big Green Gathering, the largest green festival in UK to travel to the Help Save Tara campaign in Ireland where she made many friends and came back with her stories to tell. Carrie sang some of her some of her beautiful acoustic songs in Michael Dixon’s InTouchRadio.net small studio.

Carrie is currently playing with The Lunarseeds as well as her own sets.

Contact Carrie Tree http://www.myspace.com/carrietree and tell her you heard about her on InTouchRadio.net and Michael sent you.

PlanetMan of PlanetMan & The Internationalz Interview at Michael Dixon’s home outside of Glastonbury

PlanetMan first met Michael Dixon at Sunrise Festival 2007 after his last-minute call to the Main Stage with his band the Internationalz. After his set PlanetMan Michael went to interview him, an immediate interaction took place, like soul brothers, they’ve been friends ever since. This journey has taken them through to the Big Green Gathering on the Medip Hills in Somerset. After PlanetMan came back to Michael’s home with his lady Abigail and stayed over with other friends Virgilio Fino and Nathalie Plessis of UseYourEars.com. All were recovering from the wonderful days at BGG – the following morning with builders and farmers in the background PlanetMan sang some songs.

Here you can hear PlanetMan & The Internationalz Live set from Big Green in full festival mode on a hot summer early evening. You can’t walk far with Planet without being stopped, what felt like, every couple of metres – he’s laid-back, chilled and lovely and everyone will tell you the same. He’s back again at Sunrise and other festivals this year. I recommend his album – say Michael from InTouchRadio.net sent you – listen out for Holy Land and Unite Unite.

Happy Birthday 3 years old Labyrinth Books of Glastonbury, England

Sue Render Interview at her shop, Labyrinth Books on its 3rd Birthday with Michael Dixon.

Sue has been involved with books from her teens working in educational books. After working within the book industry she started her own bookshop in Glastonbury High Street, next to Bendings Estate Agents and opposite the Crystal Shop and St. John’s Church, should you visit Glastonbury.

Sue now specializes in the Esoteric, Alternative and Mythical with many involved sidelines. You really need to visit, but if you can’t then give her a call, you’ll have to listen to the interview or go online – tell her Michael at InTouchRadio.net sent you. Her books have been one of my mainstays as I am also trained in Hypnotherapy and she has saved me a small fortune, let her do the same for you, if its available she’ll find it and you won’t be paying top dollar either.

Orchid Star at Waveform 2007

Orchid Star Interview with Michael Dixon & Live Set at Waveform Project – Powderham Castle near Exeter, Devon – England

What a beautifully wonderful band Orchid Star are, can’t describe them any better. We were all suffering from the night before the night before that and after a hugely late night and an extraordinarily early start (thank you Steve & Tamzin of EchoPress – there’s a line you know especially as you had me in that tiny tent and no I don’t mean Press Tent!)

They can play – they can laugh and in the interview they laughed a lot at the incoherent mixed notes I’d been given.

Here you have the interview backstage with all the sounds of thunder from a massive bass system and canvass-thin walls of a replacement Press Tent – you’ll get the feel of festival life here.

You also have the Live set of Orchid Star – amazingly chilled and yet vibrant music – enjoy.

Contact Orchid Star – ask for their CD – well worth the money and say you heard them on InTouchRadio.net and that Michael Dixon sent you. Orchid Star is a festival favourite and are playing mainstage Sunrise and other festivals throughout the 2008 season.

Dream Machine 2007 Waveform Main Stage Set Live

Michael Dixon records the main stage performance of Dream Machine – no editing just as it was, as it built out of the link music into the set.

Dream Machine and Michael first met at Sunrise 2007 – Michael’s son Simon Dixon had told him about the connection between Dream Machine, Ozric Tentacles and Eat Static and how they had influenced him – very much a festival movement now going back a few years. From the first meeting with Alex Pym and Gabs (bass – Italy) and the extraordinary psychic happening at Sunrise through to meeting up again at Waveform – the energy remained the same, I love them in all their variants and variations and here you have guest appearance of Paul Didge, the most sought after Didgeridoo player on the festival scene – some of Paul’s music is coming up very soon, keep your ears and eyes out on InTouchRadio.net (you can contact Paul http://www.myspace.com/pauldidge - contact him for his schedule this year on the festival circuit, lucky man he’s just been given a caravan, which is hastily being renovated – his wish came true).

Without Dream Machine, Ozrics and Eat Static (Merv Pepler & Joie Hinton) the festival scene wouldn’t somehow be the same – listen out too for Eat Static’s live set and I’m hoping to get another interview with them under the belt before the season kicks off here in the UK.

Michael Dixon reviews the debut album of Sweden’s newest band The Auto Dropouts

Auto Dropouts from Sweden Michael Dixon Reviews their debut album ‘Still Waiting for Yom Kippur’.

Myrna Minkoff blasts you away and I defy, after a couple of listens, for you to get that tune out of your head – brilliant. Lots of influences from Punk to Floyd – the Beatles to Mothers – you really need to get that CD. I strongly recommend it and with a Co-operative Collective in the band that J’s put together from around the world you’ll want to hear more – in fact as soon as I can I’m going to review the new songs they’ve just sent in – Scandinavia on the map – and there’s some good bands out there including ‘One Nation Under A Groove’ with their album I’m about to review and an interview to boot!

Joe Meek (Telstar)

This is the Legend of which modern music is made - Joe Meek – Producer – Home Studio before it was thought of and Innovator of the Technical that we all take for granted.

To say the non-coincidental meeting in Stratford u Avon’s Holiday Inn whilst on an Interview about Osteomyology and all things bones, muscles and structure is to say the least non coincidental!

Talking to Dr. Alan Clemens pre the interview with lots of Osteomyologists present for their conference I never expected to be talking about music.

Well, Alan is a musician going back to the heady days of London’s Two I’s (eyes) club where all modern music began, where the young Sir Cliff Richards and his band the famous Shadows shared fruit cocktails with guitarist/drummer Alan – that was their share meal, funds never went much further. You really must listen through the background of many Osteomyologists.

This made my day, my year, and my decade – well not quite but very close. I’m hoping in the future to sit with Alan and go through the very many stories he has.

Dr. Alan Clemens talks about his friend, probably the most famous and influential of all producers Joe Meek with his ‘home’ studio in an upstairs flat in the 1950’s and his pioneering work as both a producer and inventor with his optical compressor, echo chamber and reverb among many things. Alan was both friend and helper and was there the day Joe died.

Joe Meek was a gay in the days when being gay had a different meaning, a difficult time – listen about Joe’s meeting with Tom Jones testosterone fuelled and fresh in from the Welsh valley’s…

An informal meeting in Shakespeare’s Stratford u Avon at the Holiday Inn – things said never before told…

Alan and the Osteomyology Association can be contacted

SubSource at Waveform Festival Main Stage with On-site Interview with Michael Dixon and Interview with Stu at Michael’s home outside Glastonbury, England

SubSource – two part interview in two different locations, at Waveform 2007 & Glastonbury and the whole of their Waveform live gig off main stage.

Don’t miss this very light, informal almost jousting interview at Waveform following their brilliant live set.

What can one say about SubSource except that you spell it Source and not Sauce – they’re from South London Not the Gee Word, G? oh, ok Guildford in Sorry – oops! Surrey the posh way to say Sorry… Kimba apart from competing with Stu on Main Stage and Stu coming off worse – Stu you can’t do those things with a Stick Bass. The result Stu couldn’t do the interview there and later he came to mine with his now bride Nathalie – and couldn’t get to go for personal reasons this end. Surrey Stu & Nat.

You really need to see this band, they’re culturally mad, mentally outrageous, lovely, lovely guys and that keyboard player moves in weird and wonderfully strange way but nothing like lips on guitar and that drummer of theirs’ tried to take my leg off when I was picture taking – I suppose I was asking him to do some funny poses whilst playing live… oops! Not only did he direct a loose stick at me but his shoe too – should have kept that for the future when they’re famous and won’t speak to the likes of me…

Band members: Kimba Mutanda, Stuart Henshall, Paul "Lips" Frazer, Dennis "Borg" Ng, Neil Shervell

Contact SubSource – tell them you heard it first here on InTouchRadio.net - if you like it intense and slightly stirred get their brilliant CD online.

The Osteomyology Association – Know What it is? No well you should!

How can InTouchRadio.net put the Osteomyologists into Yellow Pages under their own unique heading?

How can we help introduce the name Osteomyologist into the English Dictionary?

Listen to Dr. Alan Clemen’s as he tells you how a minority can influence the powers-that-be when something infinitely better comes along that shatters the old and heralds the new putting a stranglehold on progress!

Learn about the Osteomyology Association – the association that apparently doesn’t exist and yet is growing so fast with ex and current Chiropractors and Osteopaths and has been in existence for over 15 years! Hear Dr. Alan Clemens, the founder’s comments and listen to how he set up a fair-trade association there for all – Interview with Michael Dixon at Shakespeare’s Stratford-u-Avon Holiday Inn at the Osteomyology Conference 2008 – relaxingly controversial and reassuringly interesting.

Contact the Osteomyology Association for a practicing member near you – insist they are an Osteomyologist and you have the best of both worlds – I know – I’ve had to use them and they are excellent – a leap of faith above the rest. Don’t forget to say that Michael sent you from InTouchRadio.net

UYE London Dancers on the Thames Embankment – unbelievable – don’t miss this – amazing.
